M. Eduardo Ramirez’s practice focuses on commercial and oil and gas litigation.
Beginning as an oil and gas title attorney, Mr. Ramirez’s experience includes writing title opinions for operating companies looking to acquire and drill lands throughout Texas. Additionally, Mr. Ramirez worked as a field landman, where he travelled to both rural and urban communities in order to research property title and trace family lineage through courthouse records. Mr. Ramirez’s oil and gas experience evolved into litigation practice, and he is familiar with all types of oil and gas litigation disputes including trespass to try title, adverse possession, production in paying quantities, and continuous development.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ramirez also worked as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. As an ADA, he gained valuable trial experience, trying multiple cases before both juries and judges and negotiating numerous plea agreements and protective orders with opposing attorneys. Since leaving the DA’s Office, Mr. Ramirez’s practice has consisted solely of civil litigation, where he maintains a heavy motion practice and prepares each case in anticipation of trial.
Mr. Ramirez is recognized by his peers as one of San Antonio’s Top Attorneys in Oil and Gas by San Antonio Magazine and as a Rising Star and Top Lawyer for Personal Injury Defense by Scene in SA magazine.
